This blog is intended to be a safe place where complementarians and egalitarians can share their differences. There is no party line or official position at this blog. All comments which conform to standards of professional etiquette are welcome.
This blog was initially created to be a place where discussions beginning on the Better Bibles Blog could be taken when they move from a central focus on how to improve English Bible versions, including passages which discuss issues of concern to egalitarians and complementarians. Of course, discussions can originate here, as well.
This blog is a good idea! BBB has become a bit too dominated by this discussion, so an alternative forum is worth having.
Only one problem: the blogroll is almost illegible on my laptop screen, there is almost no colour contrast.
I agree that this is a great idea. Not only should this separation keep the BBB more focused on bible translation, but it will hopefully allow for more more excellent discussion within the complementarian/egalitarian conversation.
Also, nice choice of a visual theme (from Blogger’s limited default selection). It’s a refreshing change from BBB and TNIV Truth.
So where’s Suzanne?
Yes, well done. Not before time in my opinion.
So where’s Suzanne?
Probably still at work; she is on Pacific Time. She was the first one I invited to co-blog here.
I am busy right now. Work is piling up.
I have started an evening course in Spiritual traditions, writings from the reformation up to the present with emphasis on how the psalms played an important role during the reformation. Ad fontes, and all that.
I am still undergoing my bathroom reno, and the workers keep giving me ridiculous tasks like choosing tiles and paint colour.
I am finessing my presentation on writing systems for a conference in Oct.
I am a mother and a teacher.
I will blog again soon.

Cheer up, blogging is a freedom of expression activity. We all do it for the fun, not for the pay!
Don’t worry, I feel quite cheerful. I just felt that BBB was getting a bit bbbogged down in a single issue.
